Clayton Matthews

Clayton leads the claims department at Oakbridge, providing loss reporting, research, advisory and advocacy services to internal and external clients. He has over three decades’ experience developing and managing high-performing teams that consistently provide best-in-class service. Clayton has a demonstrated history of successfully implementing and delivering organizational process improvement strategies designed to lower expenses and increase client satisfaction.

Before joining Oakbridge, Clayton held several leadership roles with Southern Trust Insurance Company, where he worked with cross-functional teams to increase overall value to shareholders through effective claim management and loss control activities.

Clayton graduated cum laude from the University of Memphis Lambuth with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Clayton resides in Perry, Georgia, with his beautiful wife, Kristy, and their three children.
